Cookie Policy
Last updated 11 June 2026.
We like to keep things transparent — the same way we do with your cloud bill. This page explains the small files we (and a few trusted partners) store on your device, why we use them, and how you stay in control.
What are cookies?
Cookies are tiny text files a website saves in your browser. Some are essential for the site to work; others help us learn what's useful and what isn't. On their own they don't identify you by name — they just help the site remember things between pages and visits.
How we use them
Cloud Family keeps tracking to a minimum. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary cookies runs until you choose “Accept all” in our cookie banner. If you pick “Essential only”, our analytics (Google) and marketing (HubSpot) tracking stay switched off and set no cookies.
Forms you actively choose to fill in still load, since they're needed to provide the service you asked for.
Cookies we use
Category | Cookies | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Strictly necessary | cf-consent | Cloud Family | Remembers whether you accepted or declined non-essential cookies. | Until you clear it |
Analytics | _ga, _ga_*, _gid | Measures how the site is used so we can improve it. | 24 hours – 2 years | |
Marketing | hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc, __hssrc | HubSpot | Recognises returning visitors, links form submissions, and powers chat. | Session – 6 months |
Managing your choice
You're always in charge. Use the Cookie settings link in the footer to re-open the cookie banner and change or withdraw your consent at any time. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings — though some essential features may stop working if you do.
Third parties
When enabled, Google and HubSpot process some data as independent providers under their own terms. Read more in Google's Privacy Policy and HubSpot's Privacy Policy.
